06/16/2024- 0238 hours: Company 3 and Washington County 13 alerted for a vehicle accident on Interstate 81 in the area of mile marker 3.8 northbound. Crews arrived to two vehicles on the shoulder- one with damage to the back and the other with heavy damage from the collision with the vehicle and a road sign, as well as a trip over the near-by embankment. Ambulance 3-9 transported one occupant to Meritus Medical Center and Fire Police remained until the roadway was cleared.
06/16/2024- 1058 hours: Squad 3 responded to assist Company 24 with fire in a multi-family dwelling at 23 Philadelphia Avenue in Waynesboro. Arriving to smoke and fire from multiple units of the row home, Squad personnel initially worked with suppression crews. Engine 3-2 was alerted at 1102 hours with a portion of its staff integrated to operations and the rest assisting with water supply. RHC teams worked for over four hours on the large-scale, labor-intensive incident.

06/16/2024- 2043 hours: Squad 3 and Ambulance 3-8 to the 4300 block of Hill Road, Antrim Township for an auto accident involving a utility pole. Fire Police set-up detours and EMS obtained transport refusals. PennDOT provided barricades for the long duration closure and Fire Police returned to service in two hours.
